This leather sheath protects the cutting edge of your axe, so the axe can’t hit anything that makes it blunter. It also prevents the sharp edge of the axe from injuring you or damaging your belongings. You simply slide the sheath around the axe head, then fasten it in place with a leather cord. The axe cover can then no longer slide off the axe head.
