WOOX Forte X, Splitting Axe

The WOOX Forte X is the big brother of the WOOX Forte. The head is the same as the Forte, but the handle is 15 cm longer. The Forte X is a powerful axe that can handle almost anything. It’s a bit heavy to take with you on a hike, but it’s certainly very suitable for a bushcraft excursion or camping trip. Like a tomahawk, the handle is easy to replace. This is because it’s not attached to the head by means of a wedge, but rather it widens a bit at the end so that the head ‘bites’ into the wood. The advantage of this is that you can always put a new handle on your axe, no matter where you are.
